You will notice that there are now two different businesses
under the CHAPS umbrella: Building Maintenance and Uniformed
Security. The former was our original line of work and the
latter is a rather new and spectacular endeavor being headed
by Mr. Culberth James, Vice President of CHAPS Services and
now Vice President of CHAPS Security, which we are confident
will expand and grow in the coming years because, though a
different and new direction, Mr. James and his staff will
still concentrate on the basic principals that have allowed
us to enjoy success in the past, namely; professional,
superior and timely customer service, attention to detail
and a willingness to treat your needs as if they were the
most important thing in the world to us, which they are, I
can assure you.
Of particular note is our growing presence in the area of
Security Services. Our very first contract was to cover the
perimeter for the Democratic National Convention held
recently here in Boston at the Fleet Convention Center. It
was our honor to work alongside the Secret Service and the
FBI. Talk about a heady beginning! Along the way, we also
picked up a contract to provide security for CNN News
Services. With a start like that, perhaps you can see why VP
James is confident that we are heading in the right
direction as a company and expects great things from our
Security Division.
It is our intention to go to the next level of business
operations. As regards our Building Maintenance Services,
having achieved an enviable reputation and presence in
Dorchester and Roxbury, we are starting to market
aggressively to expand beyond the traditional apartment
building site that has been our base and take on office and
public buildings and all other structures or organizations
that can be serviced by our experienced and efficient staff.
In the very near future, you will become accustomed to
seeing our signage, logo and CHAPS name prominently
displayed throughout greater Boston.
We
